Apr 19 2009, 3:02 AM EDT \| Post edited: May 21 2009, 9:48 PM EDT It occurred to me that Stella's unstable boyfriend Frankie reminds quite a deal of Stanley Kowalski from "A Streetcar Named Desire," a violent, animalistic man who is physically abusive of and unworthy of his wife, Stella Kowalski. Incidentally, Stella's first name was inspired by Stella Kowalski's. Also, the name Frankie sounds a great deal like Stanley... Sort of. Is this just a coincidence? I was so excited when I found out! This is huge... Now I'm DYING to hear him scream "STELLA!" on the show.
