Welcome to SMACked
 Stella and Mac are long time partners and great friends. Could this lead to something more?  They have a mutual respect for each other and respect each others opinons.opinions. They understand each other but Stella on occasion goes over Mac's head but he would understand by the end of it. Stella would confide things in Mac that she wouldn't say to anyone else. Season 1:
Hush: Stella saves Mac's life after a suspect sends a container flying at them in a shipping yard and Stella pulls Mac out of the way. Mac thanks Stella for saving his life.Season 2:
All Access:Mac is in distress when he hears a call on the police radio and its Stella's apartment. Mac tries to revive Stella after she was attacked by Frankie. Mac is in obvious distress after he looks around Stella's apartment. Mac comforts Stella at the end of the episode and while she is in the Hospital.
Season 3:
Heart Of Glass: Mac calls after Stella after she leaves the interrogation room because she cut herself when the glass broke.
The Ride-In:Stella tells Mac about possibly getting HIV and Stella confesses to Mac that she doesn't have the strength to wait for a cure if she's HIV positive. Mac reassures her in Greek that she will always have the strength and reassures her that he's there for her and Stella adds that she knows that.
Snow Day: When drug lords fake a gas leak to get back their drugs stored in the lab. Mac and Stella are 2 of the only 3 people there to stop them. When Mac comes out of the building Stella runs up and hugs him.
