“Huh?” Lindsay mumbled as she woke to the gentle touch of Danny stroking her hair.
“Oh I’m sorry Linds… its nothing big I just love to watch you sleep. But it is almost time to start our shift, I just thought I would wait to wake you.” Danny said as he watched her rise up from his chest to look at him. He as he grabbed her for a kiss, a small noise came from the baby monitor on the side table
“Aww Lucy…its okay baby. Daddy’s coming.” Danny said as he kissed Lindsay’s forehead.
Aww really Danny…you don’t want to spend our last moments before work starts with me?!” Lindsay asks jokingly.
“I have to take care of my girls! Why don’t you get a few more minutes of sleep..and start the shower maybe ill join you?!” Danny winks as he walks out of the room.

“Stella!! How are you doing I’ve got some soup for you…is the door unlocked?” Mac yelled outside the door. Stella had been sick for the past few days and Mac was getting really worried. Stella never missed more that a day off work.
“Come on in Mac...I just unlocked it to get the paper.” Stella yelled…sneezing as he opened the door. Mac looked around the apartment and saw Stella curled up on the couch with blankets all over. Tissues were all over the place and cups of tea on the coffee table.
“Im sorry that my apartments not so clean…I really haven’t felt up to cleaning.” Stella looked at Mac. Mac just smiled and came over to her. He lowered down and wiped the hair from her face. She sniffled and grabbed a tissue preparing to sneeze.
“Oh Stel don’t worry about it.” He looked into her deep blue eyes and smiled an even bigger smile. “You know I never notice how beautiful your eyes are Stella. They are so deep and expressive.”
“Oh Mac, your just trying to make me feel bett—“
Mac cut her off “No, I mean it. You are such a beautiful person.” Mac cupped her face and leaned to kiss her. She looked up at him about to say that she is sick but he shook his head and she leaned in as well. “You have no idea how long I have dreamed of this Mac.”

Danny and Lindsay walked together from the daycare center, “That was the hardest thing ive ever had to do” Lindsay said looking at Danny. It was Lucy’s first day of daycare. “I mean ive been wanting to get back into the field but I really didn’t think it was going to be this hard”
“Aww Montana..i know what you mean..it was hard for me too.” Danny grabbed her hand and kissed it lightly. “But just think its only for a few days a week, you can always bring her to the lab..I love my baby girl there. I always love to have my girls around me.”
“Well I know that I love to be around you…it will be nice to have some time alone with you…even if it is at the lab.” Lindsay said smiling at the little gesture of danny holding her hand. “Don’t get me wrong I love Lucy and wouldn’t trade her for the world..but sometimes I miss our special times together…alone.”
Danny smiled “Aww baby I know what you mean, I have an idea. Let ask if Lucy can spend the night with Uncle Mac..we can get a fancy hotel room and have a nice night to ourselves. What do you think of that?”
“Well. I mean dropping her off at daycare was hard…but I mean Mac is someone that we love and I mean we could try it…but um I would love to spend some time with her today..i mean I just dropped her off at daycare..and I don’t get to see her today..i would feel so bad and…”Lindsay muttered in down tone
“Lindsay its ok really, I just brought up the idea. Maybe some other time.” Danny said smiling at Lindsay and her love for their daughter..
“Aw but maybe this weekend . I would love some alone time with my husband.” Lindsay said as she came in closer to Danny. She loved being close to him. They walked into the office as both their phones went off…they knew it was time for work.

“Are you all set with everything Stella.” Mac said looking down at her. He had taken her to the bedroom and had her resting her head on his chest. He kissed her forehead and she stirred a little. “ I hate to leave you now..but there’s a new case I have to go down to the scene…its pretty big. A double homicide. Flack just sent me a message, he said Danny and Lindsay are on their way down..I would love to just sit here and stare at you all day..but I really should go down.”
“I understand…but I would you come back after. Its been so lonely around here…..”
“of course I will Stella…I’ve never had the courage to say this to you but Stella I love this. Spending time with you, seeing you all tossed and disheveled. I hate to see you this way..sick and all but you are just so adorable. Stella..i haven’t had this feeling since Claire. Stella I love you.” Mac just looked into her eyes and smiled.
“Mac, I have been waiting so long to hear you say that. I just never thought in this time. I mean me sick as a dog and all. But Mac I love you too.” Stella said with tears in her eyes.
“Aww Stel” Mac took her into an embrace and kissed her gently. “Ill be back after work I promise.” He walked out and smiled a brighter smile then he has in a long time.

“I’ll be right back, I left the crime analysis bag in the Escalade.” Danny said as he looked at Lindsay.
“Okay hurry back” Danny walked over and kissed Lindsay on the forehead “I love you”
“Aww babe I love you too…I’ll be right back” Danny walked out the door and went to the car.
Lindsay began to process evidence when all the sudden a dark shadow came up from behind her. “Haha Danny very funny…im laughing now..but come on lets get serious he—“ She didn’t even finish when all the sudden two hand grabbed her and she let out a loud scream.
Danny was just walking into the scene from the car with Mac who had just arrived and heard the scream from his wife. Dropping the bag he went into a dead sprint leaving Mac in the dust. “LINDSAY…what’s wrong…BABY WHERE ARE YOU?!?!” He ran into the room and found Lindsay crime case and saw the backs of two men carrying an unconscious Lindsay out of the building. “Hey…put her down..come back here.” Danny and Mac pulled their guns and fired as the men put her in back of a car. Mac pulled his phone out calling for back up and a search for black Ford Escape as Danny ran for the Escalade…but when he got out to the car…the car carrying Lindsay was gone. Danny got out and with tears running down his face he looked to Mac asking him “Mac..they have her…they have Lindsay…Oh my god what do I do. I cant do this…I really cant handle this.” Danny cried pleading with Mac
“Don’t worry Danny…you need to go and get Lucy. Go home and calm down. Really go take care of your daughter.”
“Mac..i can’t really let me help” Danny said to him in hysterics..
“No really go…go to Stella’s we will keep you updated I promise. We will get theses guys I promise.”
As he said that a mysterious number showed up on Macs phone…”Hey Danny get Sheldon onto trace this call…we might have some information” Danny nod and calls Hawkes to get the trace
Mac answered “Taylor/..”
A mysterious voice came on “If you ever want to see you pretty little lab lady again..you better follow these instructions….”
