It was the day after Danny and Lindsay had had their fight. Danny was sitting alone in his apartment thinking of how to tell Lindsay he slept with Rikki. Suddenly someone knocked on the door. He slowly walked over to the door and opened it, slight worried it would be Lindsay or Rikki (Because Lindsay would want to have the talk and Rikki would end this terrible thing). "Hey Danny you said you wanted to talk yesterday and you went off in a hurry after our shift. But I must admit I have to ask, why didn't you come to lunch cause you seemed very distracted yesterday?" Lindsay asked taking a few steps into his apartment. "Oh yeah, before you say anything this is what I have to say. Danny when I said I figure out how to not love you I spent the rest of my night awake worried that I would lose you to someone else." Lindsay added. Danny let out a sigh and started to tell her why he didn't go to lunch, "Lindsay the reason I didn't go to lunch yesterday is because I was with Rikki, and by that I mean we slept together." He could see the tears start to form in Lindsay's eyes and then fall. "Danny how could you do this after all we've been dating ever since that night! You are just so stupid! How could you?! I thought we had something special." Lindsay shouted and started to cry uncontrolobly. He tried to hug her but she pushed him down to the floor.
"Lindsay I was just so lonely I thought you didn't want me cause you were mad at me for missing our date for your birthday and forgetting about your birthday. Lindsay I'm so upset about this that I got this engagement ring for you. Will you marry me?" He asked getting himself up off the floor and pulling out the ring from his jacket. "Danny what the hell is running through your mind!!! No!" She shouted at him while she pulled out her gun and aimed at him. Luckily for Danny (The idiotic jerk) Flack had come round to his place and found Lindsay there. "Lindsay! Put down the gun, or if it's a game don't fire your weapon!" Flack shouted slowly walking to where she was. "Get out of here Flack, Danny deserves this after all he cheated on me!" She shouted back. Flack took the weapon of Lindsay as she fell to the floor crying. Danny ran over to her and tried to hold her but she pushed him away. "Thanks Flack." "Danny why the hell did she almost kill you?" Don asked worriedly. "Because I cheated on her." Flack looked shocked he cheated on her she would go out with him. "If I hadn't have come to play some pool you would be dead." Flack took Lindsay's hand and helped her up. "Danny I'm gonna take Lindsay home but I think we should do this another time. And I've got to tell Mac about this 'cause he's gonna want to putt you on different cases." Danny looked at the ground then at Lindsay. "Flack maybe you should go and me and Lindsay should sort this out and you cna take mine and her weapons. Or anything she can hit me with." Danny said. "Ok but I'm taking your guns. I don't want either of you dead next morning. And if you're gonna be late call me or text me if you two are still talking this out." They both nodded. "Flack I'm gonna stay and talk to him and sort our fight out and make sure that we don't let it affect our jobs. But don't tell Mac about us just yet that's my job. Plus you can just tell him we had a really big fight yesterday." Lindsay said and sat herself on Danny's pool table. "Ok but try not to kill him." She nodded. "See ya tomorrow." Flack said and opened the door. "Bye." They both yelled. He left the apartment and started to walk to the car park. "Lindsay what I told you it was a one time deal and I was so depressed and to be honest I thought our relationship started and ended on that very pool table. So lets talk about this. I think that we-" He was cut of by Lindsay's lips. She was kissing him deeply and threw her arms around his neck. Due to lack of oxygen she finally pulled apart and started to breathe heavily. "What the hell are you doing?" She smiled at him then said, "Sorting this out." He grinned and she kissed him again.

The next morning Lindsay woke up with Danny's arm around her waist. She sighed when she saw the time. It was a minute till their shift. She grabbed his phone and started to call Flack. "Hello Messer. You gonna be late in cause of you're talk." "Hi Flack its me. We're still sorting it out and well we might be another half hour." "Oh hi Lindsay. Yeah that's fine we haven't got a case yet so i'll text you when we have a body for you two. Two things, why are you answering the phone? And is Danny alive?" She laughed at Danny as she poked his nose and he shot up. "Yeah Danny's alive and awake." "Why did you say awake? You two didn't did you?" She hung up and kissed Danny. "Payback for last time. We have half an hour." He sighed half an hour wasn't long but he was gonna spend time with her. "Ok do you want pancakes for breakfast?" She nodded. He got out of bed and started to make their pancakes. "Danny, do you think we'll get the same shift today?" Lindsay called out while putting her clothes on. "Probably if Flack says we sorted it out. And we did that well." Danny answered. Lindsay walked out the bedroom door. "Well if we don't we might be able to fit in a date tonight." "Lindsay when you said you loved me did you mean it?" Danny asked. "Of course I did but maybe I shouldn't have said it. Well only because everything is different between us now and I really don't know how you feel about me and like y'know I want us to work not like last time you asked me out. but I couldn't go out with you then 'cause of my friends death. And then you showed up at the trial, why did you show up in Montana again Danny?" He slightly blushed. "Lindsay I think you know. Well first of all cause I was so in love with you then and second of all I stayed up for a whole week cause of you. I just missed you so much and when I found your card I missed you even more. I had to see you because I realised I didn't want you away from me at all, but when I went, you almost kissed me!" Danny said teasing Lindsay. "Actually you let me almost kiss you those reporters almost stopped us." Danny looked confused, "Almost? When while I was there did we kiss." She shook her head. "Can you not remember what we did on your pool table." She poked him and he stuck his tongue out at her. She grabbed it and kissed him. After what seemed like hours they pulled away, Lindsay looked at the clock. It had been 40 minutes. "Oh crap lets go to work." She said. She took his hand and they both drove to work.

The arrived at the lab 5 minutes later. "Were you two busy?" Flack asked. They nodded. "Sorry we were talking." Danny said. "Really cause from Lindsay said you did a little more than that." Danny stared at Lindsay. "What! I technically never said we were busy doing something else than talking. We may have fell asleep fully clothed, but that doesn't mean we kissed. Or made out." Danny walked off and Lindsay followed but they were then stopped by Stella. "Where've you been and don't tell me you two have been off sleeping together." Danny stared at Lindsay again. "What Stella is my friend y'know. But no we did not do it yesterday." "What are you talking about Montana of course we-" Danny was cut off by Lindsay's hand over his mouth and dragging him away from Stella, who had been smiling when Danny said that. The couple were then stopped by Sheldon. "What on earth are you doing to him Lindsay?" Hawkes asked. "Nothing, just making sure Danny doesn't say some stuff." Sheldon smiled. "What stuff would that be?" "Non of your buisness." She let go of Danny and grabbed his hand and pulled him away. They were then stopped by Mac. "You are late." "Yeah we know did Flack not tell you that we were gonna be late?" Lindsay asked. "No." They all looked at Flack who was running the other way. "Anywa you don't have a scene so put your stuff in the locke room and finish your paperwork." "Ok." Danny said and walked away with Lindsay, still holding her hand. They both got to the locker room and put there stuff away. Danny grabbed Lindsay's hand and pushed her against his locker and kissed her.Just as it got more passinite a lab tec came in and Danny and Lindsay jumped away from each other and acted like nothing was going on.When the lab tec left Danny and Lindsay gave each other one more kiss then left the locker room so it wouldn't seem suspisous that they were in there for so long.
