Out of all of the episodes that I have seen I have to say the grisliest one for me was the one at the Amityville House. I can't remember the name of the episode, but it was where Danny and Lindsey make it to the crime scene and the two little boys are laying prone on the floor with gunshot wounds to their backs. Then they make it further into the house and you see the mother also laying on the floor with a gunshot wound, and the father a little farther in. Then they find the little girl *Rose I think her name was* and she was hiding in a wall with a gunshot wound to her chest. Then when you get to the end of the episode and find out why this crime occured, man that one was just rough.

I would have to say episode 309: And heres to you Mrs. Azrael and also episode 207: Manhattan Manhunt. These 2 epis were very grim.

episode 4 of season 3: "Hung Out to Dry" definitely had the grisliest crimes - beheaded girl and a guy with his eyes replaced with railroad spikes.
