I know some of you guys have been with CSI: NY since Blink, but for others, what was the first ever episode you watched?
I remember mines was 5x07, Dead Inside probably a month ago. I recently got into crime dramas so I thought of watching CSI: NY. since I recorded it, I could watch it whenever, so I remember I watched the first few minutes and I wasn't interested. I left the episode there undeleted until I watched it again, more interested. It was funny, though, because I was looking at everyone wondering "Who's who? What's going on?!" Looking back, what cracked me up today was when I was way confused when Stella got her package with the dead rat. when she asked Danny about breaking the rules, I was asking myself, "Breaking rules? HEH?!" oh goodness :P

Any especially touching episodes that made you cry, other than the ones where characters died?
Mine: Blink (the Ground Zero scene, and Mac talking about Claire) and All Access (Melina's performance moved me to tears).

Though the episode name get somewhat familiar-sounding (e.g. "Sex, Lies and Larvae" from oldschool CSI and "Sex, Lies and Silicone" from CSI: NY), I simply love how most of the titles refer to both crimes... For example - "The Fall." I love how it refers to both the literal fall of the man from the balcony as well as Sergeant Moran's fall from grace. Brilliant.

At the beginning of the first season, the lighting was dark, and grey and blue colour filters were used, giving the series a very grim, dark mood.
By the second season, the lighting had become considerably brighter and they seemed to have stopped using the colour filters. I liked both - I was fond of the darker episodes of the first season because it was almost film noir-esque (I adore the noir style and if I were to produce a crime drama, it would be set in modern day but filmed in a noir-inspired style with '50's attire), but I felt that the brighter episodes were easier on the eyes. Which did you prefer?

when the first CSI LV was on tv in holland i looked at the begin than 2 y later CSI miami huge fan and then 2y later NY now i m bigger fan of NY, sometimes i watch Miami, But on the other channel is NCIS and thats my favo too, difficult to choose LOL
