Lexis Shontz WRITTEN BY: Pam Veasey, one of the show's executive producers DIRECTED BY: David Von Acken | Will Reed be back? Many fans have expressed interest in seeing Reed, Mac's stepson, return to the show. Here's what TV Guide editor Adam Bryant has to say about chances of that happening. You guys mentioned a while back that CSI: NY producers were planning to bring back Reed, Mac's stepson, and Sam, Flack's sister, this season. How's that going? — ClarisseADAM: Not too well, actually. Executive producer Pam Veasey tells me that ebb and flow of story ideas in the writers' room just haven't ebbed back toward those characters. But don't give up hope. "These two characters are always on our minds," Veasey says. "And if they do return this season, it will be quite riveting." | Hill Harper's Twitter Photos | Eddie Cahill and Nikki Uberti Pictures | Art Dealer Sues Claire Forlani Actress Claire Forlani, known for her former role as Dr. Peyton Driscoll on CSI: NY, is being sued for allegedly crushing the "fragile and intangible" reputation of art dealer Paul Rusconi in a mass email she sent out to her friends. The dealer claims Forlani wrote an "almost 500-word poison-pen note" claiming he sold her fake pieces which were allegedly misrepresented as works from William Claxton and Keith Haring. She also claims he overcharged her for some Andy Warhol pieces. Marty Singer, Forlani’s lawyer, states, "This lawsuit is absurd and totally without merit. We are very confident that the court will throw out the suit." Many thanks to TMZ for the story! | "6.02: Blacklist" Promotional Photos! | Sarah Carter Will Not Play Kaye Sullivan! Thanks to BuddyTV for this latest scoop!
"Sarah Carter debuts as Hayden (other sources say Haylen) Becall, a clean up tech who wants to be a CSI thanks to, well, the interest the CSI shows gave her, more or less."

| "6.01: Epilogue" Promotional Photos! | Danny in Physical Therapy?!Could Danny have been injured in the shooting in "Pay Up," the cliffhanger finale of season 5? According to SpoilerTV, CSI: NY is casting Liz, a physical therapist who gets frustrated with him when he gives up on his exercises. Tell us your thoughts in a thread. The first, second, third and fourth episodes of the 6th season of the show are titled "Epilogue," "Blacklist," "Lat/Long" and "Dead Reckoning," respectively, and will air this fall. | Vanessa Ferlito Screencaps from Julie & Julia | Vanessa Ferlito in Julie & Julia E ver wonder where Vanessa Ferlito, best known for her portrayal of Det. Aiden Burn on CSI: NY, is today? She recently appeared in the new film, Julie & Julia, starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. The film, a comedy-drama, came out today. Watch the trailer for the film here. | CSI's Laurence Fishburne to Crossover to Miami and NY This fall, CSI's Dr. Raymond Langston will make a crossover appearance first in CSI: Miami, then in CSI: NY. The crossovers are scheduled to air within the same week. This should be exciting news for the fans who'd like to see a triple crossover. | Scream Star to Play CSI: NY Serial Killer According to BuddyTV, Skeet Ulrich, who played Billy Loomis in Wes Craven's horror film, Scream, will be playing a "complex and really disturbed" killer for a three-episode arc starting on October 7th. It is said that the character will be a throwback to Ulrich's character in Scream. This storyline, described as CSI: NY's wildest yet, will take the team all over New York City. Excited? | | Gary Sinise & The Lt. Dan Band Playing "Baba O'Riley"August 5, 2009 | Not much news in the world of CSI: NY today, so I thought I'd put up a pretty nifty video of the Lt. Dan Band playing the CSI: NY theme song, "Baba O'Riley." Enjoy! |

Those of you who doubt that the event has anything to do with CSI: NY, think of Mac's heartbreak over his beloved wife Claire. Then think of the actors, many of whom are native New Yorkers themselves, or have at least lived in New York. What if they lost a friend or a relative that day?
The September 11 attacks deeply affected all of us and readers, I’d like to know what that day was like for you.
Share with us your personal account of 9/11 in the thread.
