"Danny, I need to talk to you, in private." They go into an interrogation room. "What is it my Montana?" "I have something to tell you. It is going to scare you." "What is it?" "Danny, I'm pregnant." Danny's jaw drops. "What?" "I'm pregnant." "Wow...." "I know. " They walk out of the interrogation room. They take their break and go for a walk. "Lindsay, it is confirmed by a doctor?" "I went this morning. That was why I was late and acting weird earlier." "I'm going to be a dad, and you a mom." "Yeah." They go to back into work. Danny skips a meeting. "Lindsay, where's Danny?" "I don't know Mac." The meeting ends and everyone goes home. Danny goes to Lindsay's apartment. He unlocks it and goes inside. Lindsay is laying on her bed. "Lindsay, I have a question for you." She sits up. He gets down on one knee. "Will you marry me and live you life with me forever?" "Yes!" Lindsay starts to cry as Danny slips the diamond engagement rings onto her finger. They kiss and smile at each other. Two months later, they are walking in City Park. A man comes up benind Danny and knocks him unconcious. The man also hits Lindsay in the head, also knocking her unconcious. He drags Lindsay over to his car and puts her into the trunk. He drives away. The police come because someone called in about a dead man in the park. They find Danny, still unconcious. They call Mac. Danny wakes up. "Danny, what happened?" "Where's Lindsay?" "Why?" "She was with me." Hawkes calls to Mac. "Mac, we have drag marks and Lindsay's ID over here." "Oh no." "Mac, where's Lindsay?" "We are going to find her." They go to the lab. A note is delivered to the lab saying that if the lab dosn't pay the ransom, the CSI will die. "Mac, can I talk to you?" "Come in my office and close the door." "Mac, what's going to happen to Lindsay?" We are going to get to her before the deadline. Ransom is the last thing we would do. Lindsay is a tough girl and she can handle it." "Mac, she can't handle it." "Why not?" "Mac, Lindsay is pregnant." "How far along?" "Almost three months." "Well this changes everything." "Don't let it get out unless it has to for her sake." "I'll do what I can." "Thanks." The man has Lindsay handcuffed with her own handcuffs. She is attatched to a pole in the building. "We need to get to Lindsay back to us before the timeline closes." They track down the adress and go to it. When they arrive, they hear a gunshot, and then another. Danny and Mac run up the stairs. They bust through the door. They find Lindsay shot in the foot. The man is shot dead in the head. Danny frees her and carries her down the stairs to the paramedics. They go to the hospital. They reconstruct her foot and keep her overnight to look after the baby. Mac comes in. "Congradulations Lindsay." "Thanks Mac." "Danny's going to be a good father. A month later, Danny and Lindsay are married with Mac as their witness by a judge. "Lindsay, I'll take care of all of the work changes." "Thanks Mac." "You're welcome Mrs. Messer." Five months later, Lindsay is at home. Danny is at work. Lindsay wakes up and her water breaks. She calls Danny at work. "Danny, I'm going into labor." "I'll be right there." He runs to Mac's office. "Mac, I've got to go, now." "Go." He rushes home and takes Lindsay to the hospital. After many, many hours of pain and suffering giving birth, Lindsay gives birth to a healthy baby boy. They name him Dylan Aiden Messer. They take him home. "Lindsay, I love you." "I love you too." Dylan looks up at both of them with big, bright blue eyes.
