Episode recap: The CSIs appear to have an open and shut case after a murder suspect, who was caught dumping a female body, gets impaled during police pursuit. But it turns out the investigation is just beginning when the dead suspect receives a text message reading, "Is it done yet?" Autopsy on the female victim, an up-and-coming handbag designer, reveals she died from drinking sodium hydroxide, which ultimately leads the CSIs into the world of "flavor tripping parties" where partygoers eat a West African berry, known as miracle fruit, that alters taste buds and makes bitter foods taste sweet. Meanwhile, a past murder victim's daughter, Ella McBride (Ep. 507), brings Mac what could be a case breaking lead - a SecretU card with fabric from the victim's handbag line and the words, "I want her dead!" But with little evidence on the card and a variety of suspects at the party, catching the killer might take a miracle.

- Danny uncovers a bright red stain on the driver's side carpet, and recovers Tony's cell phone with a fresh text reading, "Is it done yet?"
From the morgue:
- The bodies are brought to the morgue where Sid begins the autopsies and is shocked to discover Isabelle's organs have literally liquefied.
- Sid tells Hawkes that both victims consumed some decidedly odd cuisine, from raw onions to dandelions to citrus peels, but Isabelle consumed large amounts of sodium hydroxide, which killed her.

- Hawkes discovers the sodium hydroxide that killed Isabelle was mixed in a blender.
- Adam tells Danny he discovered the substance under Isabelle's fingernails is elephant dung.
Turning point in the investigation: Adam has analyzed elephant feces found in Tony's apartment and managed to trace them to a man named Colby Fisher, who uses the material in making recycled paper. Danny and Flack pay the man a visit, and he admits to trying to get Isabelle to eat the material as a prank at the party. Danny notices sodium hydroxide on a shelf and takes a canister for analysis.

Lindsay to Mac: Doing a handprint analysis on a sketch? That's thinking outside the box.
Greek Gov. Guy: Do I know you?
Angell: No... But you're gonna want to.
Flack: Fact number 1........ Fact number 2...... Fact number 3.
Mac to Stella: As your friend I would love to.... (Stella raises her eyebrows) ...But as your boss I'm not asking, it's a direct order.
Stella: You can't ask me to do that. (Walks out)
Flack: Science, facts. (Slides fingers together, locking them between each other)
Stella: Put yourself in my shoes.
Mac: Try stepping into mine.
Danny: You like that? It's animal planet.
Adam to Danny: You left me hanging.
Sid: (hands the test tube to Mac) It's all I got.
(Stella snatches the tube from Mac)
Stella: Hopefully it's all we need.

I had watched this Episode On Sunday March 22th FiveUS (Becouse I live in N.Ireland)and I had went out and did not get to see this Episode on Saturday and it was very good.

I thought this episode was called "forbidden fruit" not "berried alive" althiugh that is a quite clever title. funny moment when mac bit the onion!!little wierd though. i know i coudnt do it!!LOL
