That wasn't a White Pine tree that produced the sap in this episode. With all the money they spend on these sets you would think they could bring in a white pine tree. The tree she referred to was a cedar tree.

I would have commented sooner, but just watched the episode from my DVR. You would think that someone working on the show would know enough to know that a pine tree has needles in bundles...long needles in the case of the white pine. I'll be surprised if only two people noticed.
