Episode recap: Mac and Stella investigate the murder of a college student found decapitated, her body hung upside down from a ceiling fan. The grisly crime occurred during a sorority party and most of the witnesses are too drunk to remember anything. Later, another victim is found impaled on a tree in Battery Park, his eyes gouged out and two railroad spikes inserted into his head. Both victims were wearing unique shirts that contain hidden codes that could provide clues to the killer's identity.

Best episode quotes:
Stella: College tuition: 40,000$ Room and Board: 10,000$ Puking and passing out on your parents dime: priceless
Flack: Britney and Kevin came up to do the nasty, instead they discovered the nasty.
Stella: Witnesses? Sober ones, anyway?
Flack: Nah, I waited for you to get here before I started my interviews. Looking forward to that too, by the ways. I swear to you, if one of them calls me "bro"...
Mac: (about the vic who is hanging from the ceiling of a dorm room) So that's what they mean by "higher education".
Frat guy: It's called "Edward-40-Hands", you know, like "Edward Scissor Hands", but with 40s.
Flack: Get out of here.
Frat guy: No, serious, that's what they call it.
Flack: No, I mean get out of my face, I never wanna see you again. Go!
Frat guy: Whatever, bro!
Lindsay: Prints were a bust, AFIS was about as helpful as FEMA. I got nothing.
John Hayes: So you two are the smart cops.
Danny: Yeah, somewhere on the way we learned to read.
Lindsay: This guy's not subtle, is he?
Hammerback: This guy never heard of a knife, a gun, perhaps a simple poisoning?
Mac: There's nothing simple about this killer, he's very deliberate, he's trying to tell us something.
